SodaStream TERRA: Sparkling Water First, Flavor Afterward
Choose TERRA for plain sparkling water before adding flavor. Check its manual button, Quick Connect cylinder and compatible plastic bottle before buying.
Choose the SodaStream TERRA if you want plain sparkling water first and flavor afterward. Skip it if your goal is to carbonate juice or wine, or put the fizz back into leftover soda. TERRA carbonates water only. That ingredient boundary is the first buying decision, before choosing a color or bundle.

Flavor belongs after carbonation
A lime drink starts with plain water in the compatible carbonating bottle. Flavor is added only after carbonation and bottle removal. The lime bubly drops in this kit do not change that order, and a flavored drink should not go back into the machine for more fizz.

This makes TERRA a candidate for someone who wants sparkling water to drink plain or use as a base for a flavored drink. It does not suit a plan to experiment with carbonating already-mixed beverages. It also does not filter or purify your source water.
The button is manual
TERRA has a carbonation button you press by hand. Choose it if that manual control fits the purchase you have in mind; it is not the electric E-TERRA with automatic presets. The selected Amazon page’s “Automatic” field conflicts with the TERRA manuals and should not guide that choice.

Match the cylinder and the bottle separately
TERRA takes SodaStream CO2 Quick Connect cylinders, which match its pink handle system. Screw-in cylinders are not interchangeable with that connection. Plan future exchanges around the correct Quick Connect type through the manufacturer’s exchange channels, not a generic cylinder described only as “60L.” That rating is an upper output claim dependent on carbonation level and machine, not a guaranteed yield.

The selected kit’s carbonating bottle is plastic, despite the listing’s “Glass” field. Use the supplied compatible bottle; for replacements, check SodaStream’s current TERRA-specific compatibility information and the bottle’s markings. A drinking glass or a glass bottle intended for another SodaStream model is not a substitute.
Dishwasher-safe also has limits. Check the bottle’s dishwasher-safe marking and expiration date. The manuals limit dishwasher-safe bottles to 158°F/70°C; bottles without that marking must stay out of the dishwasher and below 120°F/50°C. Do not freeze the bottle or expose it to temperatures below 34°F/1°C. Do not use an expired, damaged, deformed, scratched, worn or discolored bottle.
Keep the serving glass outside the machine

The glass is where the finished water can meet other ingredients. It is not the carbonation vessel. That separation lets you choose a flavored drink without treating its juice, syrup or garnish as something the machine can carbonate.
Before use, read the supplied setup and safety instructions. They call for cold water to the bottle’s fill line, not its rim, and an upright machine on a flat, stable surface away from heat and direct sun. Never insert or replace a cylinder with a carbonating bottle installed, or force a bottle free while pressurized. The machine itself must not be immersed or put in a dishwasher.
Match Black / Starter Kit, model 1103044010, ASIN B0B2X132WK when ordering. This selection includes the lime drops shown above; a different TERRA bundle may not. Buy it for the water-first approach and manual button, not for direct beverage carbonation or a promise of a particular taste, output or savings.
