Presto Pizzazz Plus: More Heat for Toppings or Crust?

Product guide

Presto Pizzazz Plus 03430, Black, one unit. Pizza is styling and is not included.

Choose the Presto Pizzazz Plus 03430 for selectable upper and lower pizza heat. Check its open-pan design, timer behavior and food limits before buying.

Toppings ready, but you want to give the crust more heat? The Presto Pizzazz Plus 03430 lets you select heat below the pan, above it, or from both sides. That is the reason to consider this rotating pizza oven: more control over which side receives additional heat. The catch is an exposed hot cooking area that needs your attention—not a grill for raw meat.

Choose the side, not a temperature

The small selector has three positions: LOWER, DUAL and UPPER. For pizza, Presto describes using lower heat for the crust or upper heat for the toppings, following its food-specific settings. You are choosing which elements operate, not entering a separate temperature for each side.

Presto control panel with timer dial and LOWER DUAL UPPER heat selector
LOWER selects heat beneath the pan, UPPER selects heat above it, and DUAL uses both. The dial sets time, not temperature.

That distinction matters when comparing appliances. This is one pizza over a rotating pan, with heat directed from above and below. It is not two independently adjustable cooking zones for different foods.

The timer shuts off the heating elements when time expires, but the pan can keep rotating. A finished timer is not a complete power-off or a reason to walk away.

The pan stays open

Empty circular food-bearing pan beneath the raised heating head of the Presto 03430
The empty pan exposes the cooking surface hidden by food in the cover photo. It is not a cutting board; do not preheat it empty.

There is no enclosed cavity to close around the food. The empty-pan view makes that arrangement clear: the food-bearing surface sits directly below the raised heating head. Choose this format only if an attended, exposed hot appliance fits how you plan to cook.

Follow the supplied placement, removal and cooldown instructions. Do not preheat the empty pan, cover it with foil or cut pizza on it. The bare-pan photo shows its structure, not an instruction to run it empty.

Check the menu before the purchase

Supplier scenes showing pizza and cookies on the Presto Pizzazz Plus
Top and bottom elements heat from opposite sides. Supplier food scenes are not recipes or proof of cooking results; food and kitchen props are not included.

Presto documents fresh and frozen pizza, plus selected convenience foods and cookies made from refrigerated dough. That range is broader than pizza alone, but it is not permission to cook any food that fits on the pan.

Concept contrasting documented pizza and convenience foods with excluded raw meat poultry and fish
Concept only: choose for the food types covered in the supplied instructions, not raw meat, poultry or fish.

Raw meat, poultry and fish are excluded. If those are the main dishes you want to cook, this is the wrong appliance category. Use the supplied food charts for supported preparations rather than treating a styled photo as a recipe.
