Sizzix Big Shot 660200: What Machine Only Includes

“Machine Only” does not mean a bare machine, but it does mean no cutting designs. The white/gray Sizzix Big Shot 660200 comes with a platform, thin-die adapter and cutting pads. To cut a particular shape, you still need a separately chosen, compatible die and suitable material.

This is a manual 6-inch die-cutting and embossing machine. The important purchase is the complete setup for your project, not just the roller machine in the photos.

The shape is a separate purchase

Choose the shape and size first, such as a tag or card embellishment. Then check the die that makes it against the exact machine, material and accessory requirements. The machine supplies the rolling action; the chosen die supplies the cut outline.

Embossing is a separate project choice: an embossing folder is not included either. Do not read a photo of finished flowers or cards as a list of designs supplied in the box.

Know what “Machine Only” includes

Sizzix lists one machine, one Standard Platform, one Thin Die Adapter and one pair of Standard Cutting Pads.

Dies, embossing folders and paper or other project supplies are not included. The staged flowers, scissors and tools are separate too. Price the particular die or folder, material and any required additional accessories with the machine, rather than assuming the pictured project is ready to make.

Check the die, material and plates together

Confirm that the exact die and your intended paper or cardstock are suitable for this machine, along with the required platform, adapter and cutting pads. The 6-inch size label does not mean every die or full sheet will fit, or that any plate combination will work.

Follow the requirements for the exact machine and accessory rather than transferring a setup from another Big Shot version. If the guidance does not settle your combination, ask the manufacturer before buying.

Allow room for the crank and plates

Leave clearance for plates and material to move through the machine and for your hand to turn the crank. These are operating-space requirements, not just the size of the machine at rest.

Sizzix specifies operation by users aged 14 and older. The handle is operated by hand; the listing scene below is not a cutting-sandwich instruction.

Build a project list, not an assumed kit

For model 660200, separate the supplied machine components from the project items you choose. The map below is a contents checklist, not an assembly order: it does not mean every included component is used together for every die.

The linked selection is the white/gray Big Shot Machine Only, model 660200, not a Starter Kit, Plus, Pro, Foldaway, electric model or newer gray Big Shot. Confirm the model and package contents before ordering.
