Can You Choose Which Photos the INSTAX mini 12 Prints?
The INSTAX mini 12 makes a physical photograph when you take the shot. It does not let you preview several digital pictures and print only your favorites.
No. The INSTAX mini 12 does not let you take several photos and then choose which ones to print. It is an analog instant camera. For a normal photograph with film loaded, taking the shot uses one image from the pack. Choose it because you want that physical-photo experience, not because you expect a digital preview-and-select workflow.
This guide covers the FUJIFILM INSTAX mini 12 in Lilac Purple, model 16806286, ASIN B0BWNYPCT1: one camera, not a film-and-case bundle.
The decision happens before you take the photo
You compose through the viewfinder and press the shutter. The film ejects automatically, and the remaining-photo counter decreases with each photograph. There is no digital review step where you can reject that shot before using film.

If someone blinks or you dislike the composition, that photograph has already used its sheet. You cannot recover it by deleting a file. The image develops after ejection; Fujifilm specifies approximately 90 seconds, varying with ambient temperature. That is a development estimate, not a claim that the finished image appears the moment it comes out.
Framing aids work before exposure
The front selfie mirror helps you check a selfie before taking it. Close-up mode is intended for subjects 30–50 cm from the lens, and its parallax correction helps align close-up framing through the viewfinder. These are aids for composing the next photograph, not tools for reviewing or repairing one already taken.

Automatic exposure also works at capture; it does not guarantee every result. The flash is specified to fire with automatic light adjustment. Automatic flash control does not mean you can switch the flash off. The manual says not to take photographs where flash photography is forbidden.
The result is a small physical photograph
The whole sheet of INSTAX MINI film is larger than the picture area within its border. Keep that distinction in mind when imagining the finished photograph: the border is part of the object you hold, but it is not additional space for your subject.

You can later use a smartphone to scan the physical print. Fujifilm describes that approach for its instax UP! app. The resulting scan comes from the printed photograph; it is not a digital original saved by the mini 12, and it does not create a chance to choose that shot before the film is used.
This camera package still needs film
The selected listing includes one Lilac Purple camera, a hand strap, a user manual and two AA batteries. INSTAX MINI instant film is sold separately. A camera shown with a photograph emerging from it is not evidence that film comes in this package.

Film therefore belongs in the purchase plan from the start. Each normal photograph uses an image from the loaded pack, including a result you later decide not to keep. No price or per-photo cost is assumed here.
Would you want to choose from several attempts first?
If your answer is yes, the mini 12 does not provide the workflow you want. For printing selected digital pictures, our SELPHY CP1500 guide covers a separate photo-printer approach and its requirements.
If you want to frame a moment, take the shot and let that exposure become a small physical photograph, view the Lilac Purple INSTAX mini 12 on Amazon. The key choice is accepting that the film is committed when you take the picture.
Based on Fujifilm’s exact-model information and manual, plus the matching Amazon listing. Product photographs and the composite are unchanged supplier material; the two diagrams are source-based illustrations. We have not physically tested this camera.
