GARDENA ZoomMaxx: Adjust the Spray to a Narrow Patch
The ZoomMaxx 84-BZMX adjusts each side’s spray width separately. Compare that control with its sweep, weighted base and non-timer configuration.
A narrow garden patch needs a different spray shape from a broad lawn. The GARDENA ZoomMaxx 84-BZMX lets you adjust the width on each side separately, as well as the length of its oscillating sweep. Consider it when one side needs less reach than the other. Its limitation is important: adjustable controls are not a promise that every drop will stay inside an exact boundary.
Two sides do not have to match
Imagine a planting strip with the sprinkler positioned closer to one edge. A symmetrical fan may not be the shape you want. The ZoomMaxx has width controls on both sides, so you can narrow one side without simply choosing the same width for the other.

That is the useful distinction in the four examples above. The different fans illustrate adjustment choices; the blue lines are supplier graphics, not surveyed edges. You still need to observe where the water lands and adjust the position and settings for your patch.
Width, length and flow are different choices
The width controls change the sideways spread. The length adjustment changes the back-and-forth sweep. A separate flow control adjusts the water flow. For a long, narrow patch, those are more informative features than a single maximum-coverage number.

GARDENA rates this US model for up to 2,300 square feet. Treat that as an advertised maximum, not a guarantee for your hose setup or a reason to expect every narrow shape to fit. We have not measured coverage, distribution or overspray.
A movable base, with a filter to care for
This selection rests on a weighted circular base rather than an in-ground spike. That gives you a freestanding placement format when deciding where to put the sprinkler. The underside photo shows the weights; it does not establish stability on slopes or in wind.

The cylindrical filter is removable for cleaning. That is useful access, but also a maintenance consideration: the sprinkler is not a sealed, maintenance-free purchase. Use the supplied care directions rather than treating a promotional diagram as a complete servicing procedure.

The linked selection is one GARDENA ZoomMaxx 84-BZMX, Weighted Base, with one quick-connect fitting. It is not the separate timer bundle or the step-spike model. Confirm the fitting against your existing hose connection before ordering; the product photo does not establish universal compatibility.
Choose it for control over the spray's two side widths and oscillating length. If the missing feature is scheduled watering or timed shutoff, this non-timer selection does not supply it. The purchase decision here is where the water goes, not when a session starts or ends.
