Wagner PaintStick EZ Roller: A Wall Session or a Few Touch-Ups?
Consider a paint-filled handle for continuous wall work. For scattered touch-ups, weigh the filling and cleanup commitment against your existing tray setup.
Consider the Wagner PaintStick EZ Roller for a continuous stretch of interior wall, when repeated trips to reload a tray roller interrupt the job. For a few scattered touch-ups, keep a small tray setup: filling and cleaning a paint-carrying handle can be more commitment than that session needs.
Picture the painting session first
A broad wall gives you a reason to carry paint with the roller. The PaintStick stores paint in its handle and feeds it to the cover, so you can roll between reservoir refills without returning to a tray for each reload. That is the useful change to weigh against the extra paint path you will clean afterward.

For isolated marks in different spots, there may be little tray reloading to avoid. If your existing small roller and tray already suit that job, you do not need a reservoir tool just because you are repainting part of a room.
The paint can still has a place
The handle fills through a tube clipped to a paint container. You still need somewhere to keep that container and make the fill connection; the paint supply has moved into the handle for rolling, not disappeared from the room.

Wagner specifies a handle capacity of up to 22 ounces. Use that as a reservoir specification, not a promise that one fill finishes your wall. We have not measured coverage, painting speed or cleanup time.
At the grip, a manual trigger delivers additional paint to the roller. This selection is the PaintStick EZ Roller, not the powered PowerFlow or SideKick system.

Leave room for the tool and the rest of the job
The wall scene shows the plunger extending behind the grip. Look at the space around your working position, especially near furniture, rather than judging the tool only by its roller width. The photo does not establish clearance in your room.

Room preparation and cutting in edges with a brush remain separate work. A paint-filled handle does not remove those tasks or the need to protect nearby surfaces.
Before choosing it, plan a suitable cleanup area. Wagner’s manual describes cleaning the internal paint path as well as separate roller components, rather than simply rinsing the outside of the cover. It also limits suitable paints by their cleanup requirements. Check the paint and the complete supplied instructions before filling; do not assume every coating is suitable.
Check the exact selection
The linked Amazon option is PaintStick EZ Roller, model 2419329, ASIN B0B5YJX668. Its listed contents are the PaintStick, fill tube and a 9-inch by 3/8-inch roller cover. That cover size is not confirmation that any replacement cover of the same dimensions will fit.
For a continuous wall session, the reason to consider this tool is fewer returns to a tray while paint remains in the handle. For occasional small patches, the filling and cleanup commitment is a good reason to stay with your existing setup.
