Choose the OXO Good Grips Compact Dustpan & Brush Set if you want a small, dedicated tool for collecting loose crumbs from your kitchen counter. Its angled handle and snap-together storage are the reasons to consider it. If your current cloth or brush already handles those quick cleanups, you do not need another tool just because you are moving.

The trade-off is size: this is a handheld set for small jobs, not a replacement for your main floor-cleaning tools.

Buy it for a specific spot

Think about where crumbs collect and where this set would live. OXO shapes the handle for countertop use, and the pan has a flexible lip. Those features explain the design; they do not guarantee that every crumb will lift in one pass.

A small brush and pan make more sense for a quick local sweep than for working across a whole kitchen floor. You still have to hold the pan, brush debris into it, and empty it.

Decide where it will go afterward

The brush snaps into the pan with its bristles covered. OXO says the set can stand on a counter or shelf, or be stored in a drawer. Choose the storage spot before buying; check the exact listing dimensions if drawer clearance is tight.

Covered bristles are a storage feature, not a promise of sanitary storage. As a practical precaution, keep a countertop brush separate from one you use on the floor. Do not assume it is dishwasher-safe.
