DuraScoop Litter Scoop: Bowl, Slots and Fit

Product guide
DuraScoop metal litter scoop with a deep slotted bowl and a teal grip.
One scoop; the supplied grip color varies. Teal is shown.

A deep aluminum bowl is the DuraScoop’s main draw. Check slot suitability, access and storage before choosing this large, randomly colored scoop.

The short answer

Consider the DuraScoop Original/Jumbo when a shallow bowl or a flexing scoop makes litter-box cleanup awkward. Its deep aluminum bowl is the main reason to choose it. The trade-off is bulk: check the box opening, turning room and storage space before buying.

This selection is one scoop with a randomly supplied grip color, not a scoop-and-holder set or a selectable-color bundle.

Match the slots to your litter

The bowl has elongated slots and solid sidewalls. Loose granules need to pass through the openings while the pieces you want to remove stay above them. Large granules or pellets may be retained along with waste; small clump fragments may fall back through.

Metal construction alone does not solve a sifting mismatch. Follow your litter's directions rather than assuming a jumbo scoop works with every type.

Check the whole path

Check the narrowest opening, space to reach the back corners and room in your holder or storage spot. For a covered box, use the lid position you normally choose for cleanup.

Listing measurements conflict. Confirm the current item's overall size and bowl width with the seller before relying on a close fit. We have not used the conflicting dimensions to promise compatibility.

Three generic space checks: the box opening, room to turn inside, and space to store the scoop.

Construction and care

The listing describes an aluminum scoop and handle core with a plastic-coated grip. Grip comfort is personal, and a deeper bowl does not need to be filled on every pass.

Check your litter box's care instructions before using a metal edge against it. Follow the scoop's supplied care instructions; do not assume a nonstick finish, scratch resistance, dishwasher use or cleaning-chemical compatibility.
